Ukrop's grocery has voluntarily recalled some of its ground beef due to potential contamination with E. coli. Ukrop's has several stores in Virgina, including one in Williamsburg.
While Ukrop's hasn't been notified of any E. coli cases in Virginia associated with ground beef, the grocer received the ground beef from the same supplier (PM Holdings) that has cause seven cases of E. coli infection in a recent E. coli outbreak in Minnesota.
On Thursday, Ukrop's took proactive measures by removing all potentially affected products.
